Saint Dominique Middle School students – from grade 2 “A” – wrote a poem about “Zero Hunger”. This topic is as much important as all the other ones of the SDGs that our students discover with Planet Fraternity.

Hunger
In a world that spins,
Where hopes arise
Zero hunger, our shared noble prize
A quest of equality, a universe call
To end hunger that haunts us all.
In fields and farms where seeds are sown
Our tools, our strength shown
To feed the hunger both near and far,
A world united, like a shining star
No child should go to bed in tears,
No parents’ heart filled with endless fears
Zero hunger, a dream we dare
To ensure all have enough to spare
Let’s break the chains of famine’s hold
And turn fields into gardens of gold
Through motivation, compassion and care
We’ll banish a burden we bear
A world where hunger meets its end.
With open hearts we’ll make the plea,
For a world where we are all free.
United we stand in this global fight
To end suffering and bring forth the light.
For zero hunger is not just a word,
But a promise, a vision, let it be heard!
Together we will strive
Together we will rise.
