To celebrate English Language Day, the 2nd-year students of middle school (class B) at Saint Dominique had the pleasure of hosting their fellow learners from Maison d’Anfa, a sister school within the ECAM network.
This special event was designed to create an immersive and meaningful English-speaking environment. Through educational treasure hunts and collaborative games, students were able to practice the English language actively and purposefully.
Beyond language skills, the day highlighted the importance of core human values such as honesty, friendship, responsibility, perseverence, cooperation, respect, brotherhood… These values were naturally integrated into each activity, reinforcing both linguistic and moral development.
The experience promoted inter-school collaboration, nurtured social-emotional learning, and demonstrated how language can serve as a powerful tool for connection and mutual understanding.
A truly enriching day where learning went hand in hand with empathy, teamwork, and fun.
